Pear Blossom Parade

by Jamie Bennett

This past weekend I woke up at 5 am and headed down to Medford, Ore. for the 2015 Pear Blossom Festival. We currently have a show going on at the Jackson County Fairgrounds, where Guaranty wound up selling it's giveaway trailer. I had to arrive in Medford early enough to install fresh decals on the new promotional trailer, so that it could be in the parade. I love driving around Oregon, especially before the sun comes up. The drive between Springfield and Medford is especially gorgeous. I was rocking out to Coachella the whole way down via satellite radio (what a time to be alive).

It was wet and wild. I had to keep drying the surface of the give away trailer, while installing decals. It was a time crunch, but I made it.

The parade was awesome. I love waving to the children and dancing on my fluorescent, bubble rig. I was surrounded by my signage and friends. I was wet, tired, and having a whole lot of fun. Luckily, Medford has a Del Taco.  I loaded up on some/lots of quesadillas before driving home.

When I got home I slept. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday. Here is a photo of me curled up with Herman (the world's best body pillow).
